Almost 45 thousand enthusiasts and students, as well as chief executive officers and technology leaders – from over 150 countries – have registered for the next Web Summit. The event takes place in Lisbon from 7 to 10 November.
Having started in 2010 with just 400 participants, the Web Summit is now one of the most important technology conferences in the world. In the 2016 edition, the summit is leaving Dublin and reaching new dimensions with 21 independent conferences, each with its own stage in the Feira Internacional de Lisboa.
All the major industries touched by technological innovation will be present, sharing ideas or exhibiting products. Among the speakers are John Chambers, executive chairman of Cisco Systems; Linda Boff, General Electric’s chief marketing officer; and actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, founder of HitRECord.
