This is your innovation events calendar for 2019

Innovation, technology and future trends are always on the mind of innovation leaders. To keep on top of things and stay up to date, we have gathered the 12 innovation events for your diary for 2019 – one for every month of the year.

January: Innova-Con 2019
The year kicks off with one of the biggest innovation conferences of the year. A joint initiative by the International Association of Innovation Professionals (IAOIP) and the US Chamber of Commerce, Innova-Con 2019 gathers prominent speakers and global innovation management experts in Washington on January 29th-30th. This year’s theme is “Disruption: The Emerging Landscape of Innovation”, focusing on areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Globalizing Innovation.

February: Think 2019
Between February 12th-15th, IBM hosts the conference Think 2019 in San Francisco (USA). Promising to sharpen skills, provide hands-on experience with the latest technology and extend visitors’ professional network while having fun in the process, the conference features educational opportunities, expert guidance, demonstrations and entertainment.

March: The Digital Transformation Conference
Twenty digital business leaders will be sharing their case studies, challenges and success stories at The Digital Transformation Conference 2019, which takes place in Boston (USA) on March 28th. The agenda is filled with presentations, fireside chats, panel discussions and networking opportunities, in an event designed to help innovation leaders navigate digital transformation.

April: Ci2019
From technology to creativity: on April 1st-3rd in Melbourne (Australia), the mission of Ci2019 (Creative Innovation 2019) is to help business leaders upgrade their organisations to Human Intelligence 2.0. It aims to explain the drivers of the current changes taking place, the implications for the future and the strategies and thinking that governments, businesses and individuals need to be successful, by providing the knowledge and tools to develop the necessary agility and leadership mindset.

May: Webit.Festival
Thousands of attendees – most of which are C-level – from across the world flock to the Webit.Festival Europe, which this year takes place in Sofia, Bulgaria, from May 13th-15th. The technology and innovation event gathers experts from all digital industries, selected startups, leading speakers and networking opportunities where innovation, digital and tech ecosystems meet.

June: Gartner Tech Growth & Innovation Conference
Over three days in June, from the 3rd to the 5th, San Diego (USA) is the hosting city of the Gartner Tech Growth & Innovation Conference, an event that provides a detailed roadmap to achieve product and market success. Technology disruption and market opportunity, effective positioning and branding, new business models, winning strategies and product design are just some of the topics covered.

July: IET 2019
IET 2019, the World Conference on Innovation, Engineering and Technology, lands in Seoul (South Korea) between July 16th-18th. As well as its aim to build an international platform for experts to share and discuss their latest research, ideas, technology and survey reports, the conference is also calling the academics to submit abstracts and full papers on a range of related topics.

August: Gartner Catalyst Conference
Game changers such as cloud, big data, mobile, DevOps, analytics, SaaS, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT) are advancing rapidly, so the aim of the Gartner Catalyst Conference 2019 is to equip attendees with the latest technology trends and master the skills that digital business transformation demands. The conference takes place in from August 12th-15th in San Diego (USA).

September: IBC2019
At the forefront of industry innovation, IBC “sits at the global crossroads of the media, entertainment and technology industry”. Held in Amsterdam (Netherlands), the event features a conference with 400 inspirational speakers (from September 12th-16th) and an exhibition with thousands of exhibitors (13th-17th). The idea is for CEOs and startups alike to connect and help shape the future of the industry.

October: Impact 2019
October sees the return of Impact 2019, the conference designed for corporate innovation, strategy and R&D leaders. Over two days – 23rd and 24th October – in San Francisco (USA), innovation leaders from some of the world’s largest companies will share their learnings and advice. Attendees will also learn about metrics, governance, working with business units, personal innovation and career development.

November: Global Innovation Forum
With presentations, panel debates, workshops, demo labs, startup stages and more, the Global Innovation Forum welcomes global innovation players to London (UK) on November 20th-21st. Experienced speakers will share their insights with innovators, entrepreneurs and inventors to discuss the latest trends in innovation, design, creativity, R&D and new product development.

December: Tech for Good Gathering
As its name suggests, the Tech for Good Gathering 2019 celebrates how technology is being used to make positive social change. The event features speakers who are using technology to make the world a better place by addressing some of the biggest social challenges today. Taking place in London but with dates to be confirmed, all profits of the gathering go towards its charity partners.
