After a first successful edition in 2015, the International Society for Professional Innovation Management (ISPIM) has launched the competition for its Grand Prize 2016 ‘for excellence in innovation management’. Applications are open to all organisations, including non-profit entities, until 8 April.
ISPIM’s panel of judges will shortlist the three candidates with the strongest report ‘on initiatives that have significantly improved their innovation performance in any domain during the last three years’. The finalists will present their cases, and the audience will choose the winner at the ISPIM conference in Porto, Portugal, on 19 June.
Founded in 1983, ISPIM is the largest and most active innovation association in Europe. The organisation’s Grand Prize recognises companies that significantly advance the practice of innovation management, as well as innovation professionals’ efforts to deliver great innovation to the market. The U.S. Department of Energy, shortlisted with Cisco and Tata, won the prize last year.
