Selected Books

Not sure yet of what to read this summer? Futurist and New York-based blogger Dominic Basulto shares his reading list in this ‘Washington Post’ article.

Basulto recommends books with very different approaches to innovation. Some take you into the ‘thought process of a top innovator’, such as ‘Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX and the Quest for a Fantastic Future’ by Ashlee Vance or ‘A Curious Mind’ by filmmaker Brian Grazer and reporter Charles Fishman.

Other books make you dive into new fields that are shaping business and our world, such as ‘cybersecurity, space exploration and artificial intelligence’ – including Andy Weir’s ‘The Martian’, Marc Goodman’s ‘Future Crimes’, and Nobel Prize in Economics Alvin E. Roth’s ‘Who Gets What — and Why: The New Economics of Matchmaking and Market Design’.
