The Harvard leadership programme for emerging business leaders

As part of its Executive Education offering, the Harvard Business School has developed an alternative to an executive MBA programme. Designed for specialists and contributors with 10 to 15 years of work experience, the Program for Leadership Development (PLD) is an accelerated learning experience for emerging business leaders.

The rigorous PLD curriculum focuses on leadership, change and innovation, tailored to executives’ unique leadership goals and business challenges, with minimal downtime. The compressed format comprises two on-campus and two distance-learning modules over the course of seven months.

Providing a broader understanding of core business functions and a deeper confidence in their decision-making skills, Harvard’s programme aims to equip students with a personal action plan for advancing leadership goals and strengthening their company’s competitive advantage.

The programme, which promises to transform “the world’s most promising managers into the next generation of powerful leaders”, will run between July 2018 and February 2019, and November 2018 to June 2019.
